BLOG ONE – AN INTRODUCTION

I’m Daniel, and this is my second year studying at NMIT.  My previous experience in infrastructure includes NET502 in my first year and a previous IT job I had when I was younger for a technology company that specialised in ophthalmology and digital imaging.  While I have had some networking experience, I have found revisiting the topic to be an intriguing and rewarding learning curve to develop new skills and be immersed in new technology types.  Suffice it to say, infrastructure has come a long way since working with it last.

As to my ambition, I am not sure where I would like to go with these skills career-wise.  Currently, I find both infrastructure and software development stimulating subject matters.  My results and skills attained this year in my chosen subjects will help me develop a more robust career path.
